From Moynihan Station, Hudson is just over 2 hours on the Amtrak, and Basilica is across the street from the train stop.
METRO NORTH:
Starting in Spring of 2026, Metro-North trains will run express from Grand Central Station to Hudson. Once ticket links are available, we’ll update this page.
From The Airport:
Car rental is available at JFK, Laguardia, and Newark airports, or you can take a rideshare service to Grand Central or Moynihan Hall and take a train to Hudson.

Albany Airport (ALB) is the closest airport to Hudson, and is just a 20 minute train ride or a 45 minute drive,
The Empire Service Train Line also runs regularly from Albany to NYC. Hudson is the first stop on the Empire service train line from Albany to NYC.
