From Moynihan Station, Hudson is just over 2 hours on the Amtrak, and Basilica is across the street from the train stop.
METRO NORTH:
Starting in Spring of 2026, Metro North trains will run express from Grand Central Station to Hudson. Once ticket links are available, we’ll update this page.
From JFK/LGA:
Uber operates regular shuttles to/from airports and Penn Station for $35. Car rental is also available in and around NYC if you’d rather drive.

Albany Airport (ALB) is the closest airport to Hudson, and is just a 20 minute train ride or a 45 minute drive,
The Empire Service Train Line also runs regularly from Albany to NYC. Hudson is the first stop on the Empire service train line from Albany to NYC.
